MIKE GAHAN: Managing Director.
An experienced CFO and Chartered Accountant with considerable experience in M&A and business turnarounds. He successfully exited his last business through a high value sale to a plc. Now an entrepreneur MD of his own companies and an Angel investor.
KIERON WILKINSON: Chairman.
Kieron created and developed a leading international industrial services business within the steel sector with a annual turnover of £2 billion. He has global experience of corporate governance and risk management including the establishment and running of international joint-ventures, mergers and acquisitions and international capital investment projects.
JACK MACLACHLAN: Director.
A Managing Director/Executive with significant experience in delivering change in large businesses, managing cost competitive operations to revenue and profit targets; international exposure in developed/developing markets; capital investment programmes, and implementation of new organisations and management processes.
JOE CADDELL: Director.
Joe is highly experienced at senior executive levels in industries including IT, financial services and wholesale distribution. He has considerable experience at Board level in a diverse range of companies. He is an Angel investor with particular experience in managing company growth and business turnaround.
PHILIP PALMER: Creative Director.
Philip is a screenwriter, an acclaimed radio dramatist and an SF novelist. His feature film credits include Guantanamero starring Derek Jacobi and his novels include Debatable Space, Version 43 and Red Claw . He is the screenwriter of The Ballad of Billy McCrae as well as the co-producer, and his SF thriller MR SMITH is supported by the regional screen agency Ffilm Cymru Wales and has been optioned by Longboat Films.
Philip teaches screenwriting at the Goldsmiths Screen School and has considerable experience as a creative producer and script editor on projects including Wah Wah by Richard E. Grant. He was formerly Head of Drama of Danny Rose Productions, responsible for the cult comedy A Many Splintered Thing and the hit ITV drama Back Home. He has a strong commitment to creating movies and television dramas set in and about Wales.
MICHAEL RILEY. Head of Production.
An award-winning producer who has produced more than twenty-five high quality feature films. These include Boston Kickout , which won numerous awards at film festivals including San Sebastian and Valencia; Respect, Loop with Susannah York; Out of Depth, a thriller with Sean Maguire, Rita Tushingham and Isla Fisher; Lava; Vampire Diary (which won Best Film at the Milan International Film Festival) and Outlanders (Winner: Best Film at Braga Cine IFF and Best Film at CinePobre IFF); Chosen starring Harvey Keitel; and The Seasoning House (winner of Critic’s Prize 2013 Fantasporto Film Festival and the Critic’s Prize at the Denver Mile High Horror Film Festival). His critically acclaimed recent movie Crowhurst, about the doomed voyage of the round the world yachtsman Donald Crowhurst was described by the Guardian as ‘a tremendously good and moving film.’ His horror film Heretiks was released in 2019 and was filmed in South Wales with a Welsh cast and crew.
